 After having been in business and sales for over twelve years, I recently made a decision to follow my passion for design and home furnishings. As I’ve traveled to Europe on several occasions and grown up in Louisiana, I’ve learned a culture and style that is truly unique and hospitable. I believe making a home is one of the most important things in our lives. A priority in my life is making others feel comfortable while sharing a warm sense of hospitality. Combining this priority with a strong business sense led me to my pursuit of sharing my sense of style and culture from “back home” with others through retail. Working with the Cottage, Antique Mall of Green Hills and Fine Offerings Antiques has given me that warm feeling and the assurance that anything you purchase throughout these boutiques will accomplish your needs to make a home your home.
The French term “a la Maison” primarily means at home or back home. This name is significant to me as I’m a native of Louisiana transplanted over two years ago. I am anxious to share a Southern sense of style with a New Orleans’ flair of culture by providing work done by local artists currently living in Southern Louisiana and the Gulf Coast region. Not only am I excited to share unique pieces from “back home” with you, but also to support those still living and working in the hurricane affected areas.
